Volute is a series of various ceramic mugs based on the design of the volute spring. This is a part that is used in various objects. Consider, for example, pruning shears, but also cars. The shapes of the volute spring appeal to me because it differs somewhat from ordinary springs. The sloping edges and unique applications give the part a special look for me. I combined this with the classic look of a unique, yet versatile milk mug. I incorporated this into the colorful Volute mugs. There are two types of mugs, used for coffee and espresso.
